KP Compositions - Ken Parsons Designs

Created to be fun to use and virtually fool proof, KP Compositions™ walks you through the process of designing your own layouts and editing the designs to achieve the exact look you want. Simply choose the fabric, the machine brand and the placement area, the software will automatically set the parameters* for a great finished design.

Select your fabric type or project.
Select your embroidery fomat.
Select your garment or home décor pattern.

Easily place designs in the perfect locations as you work.

Choose from built-in location shapes or start with a blank page and draw your own location.
KP Classic Designs or Designables can easily be placed by dragging them onto the placement areas.
Merge other designs you own onto the page and create just the right combination of embroidery.
Align, rotate and mirror image any part of a design or the whole design.
Resize designs or groups of designs, stitches will automatically recalculate.
Change the colors in designs choosing from popular thread palettes.
Use automatic colorsort, sequence and entry/exit to automatically optimize designs.
Add an autobaste around finished designs for exact placement in the hoop.

View design creations all along the way.

3-D view gives a realistic preview of your embroidery.
Turn the grid view on and off as needed while designing.
Make sure the design composition will fit into the chosen hoop with the hoop view.
The sequence view displays all the sections of your designs at all times.
Zoom in to see more detail and out to view the whole composition.
Pan around to move from one section to another when in the zoom mode.
Use slow draw to see just how the design will sew out.

Add Instant Lettering, Phrases and Monograms.

Choose popular words and phrases to add in English, French or Italian with the built-in Instant Phrase Translator.
Create your own phrases in any of the three languages using the Web Translator.
Create single words or multi-line text using the built-in professionally digitized fonts.
Choose from 3 monogram styles to accent any design project.

Easy to use tools make creating designs in your personal style easy.

Cut, copy and paste within a location or from one location to another.
Use power copy for quick placement of multiple copies.
Select and delete sections or even parts of a section.
Alignment and spacing for specialty items is simple with the line and circle templates.
